Is MACNA IN tEXAS A sure thing now??? Many of the folks that I have spoken with are still a little gunshy after the experiences of this last 12 months. I had originally planned to go, but I have still not regestered , as most of the assurances that I have received have fallen a little short of the mark. It is very hard for me to take time off, I would hate to go to Texas and the party be called off...

It would be nice to have some MACNA official assurances here in a public forum that the program will go off as planned...

It most certainly is a go. It's been a go since end of April. The local club in Dallas was able to host it themselves without MASNA's so-called "support". As an exhibitor, I have had countless conversations with club officials. Short of a terrorist attack in Dallas, the show is definitely a go.

There has been alot of discussion, with plenty of feedback from meeting officials, on ReefCentral. Here are two of the most active links:

Me too, ALice! I had put down $$$ last August at MACNA, and then it was returned.

Sigh...at least I got to go out to meet everyone out at the PNWMAS picnic!

Jeff:

Modifications to the rock line have been completed. First batch of rock in the new system is just about finished curing. We've had the new fish system up, along with some great clams, for the past two months. The LPS system is doing great, new sump and pumps will hopefully go online this weekend.

Website is almost done, just need to get some pictures of the always stocked LPS and softies. Hard to take some of those pictures in our pools, need to move them one by one into a regular tank.

Stop on by sometime.
