Lots of lighting info..simple guide to lighting???

Anyone have a simple guide to lighting....or have a reference somewhere on these forums? How many watts etc.??? Different types for different tank species??? For beginners....

there is no exact answer for the best type of lighting, all depends on the type of corals you are having and depth of the tank. some like or require a small alot of light others require a lot of light and intense ( MH lighting). i have some more ref. somewhere i will look for them in a bit.
