long term caluerpa and pods with no MT

We have a little financial setback going on now, and my new 75g will not be up for a while.

I have my homemade Mini Tony sump with a bunch of rocks that are cooked and a Mag 9 moving stuff around. The third chamber now is full of caleurpa and cheato that a guy brought me today with pods in there.

I have a PC light to put over that sump chamber.

With salt water mix in there and lighting will this stuff live without a main tank to feed it. Do I need to add any supplements like DT's or something to feed the plants and the pods?

It could be 3-4 months before the sump gets integrated into a new system and I don't want to lose the plants or the pods.

Treat it like any other aquarium; keep it topped up, do water changes, and siphon out detritus as it accumulates. For diversity, it might help to occasionally feed small amounts, but mostly, this will be unnecessary. Just keep up good husbandry skills in place for success.

It will happen. It will just be a little slower process. The sump is still working with a skimmer, return pump and fuge, just not connected to anything.
