Long Tentacle anemone
Recently bought a LTA and he has been big and beautiful for days. Been fed silversides 2x in 5 days, eats well. But about 30 minutes ago he pulled up his foot, took in all but a few of his tentacles, kinda looks like he is closing up. Does anyone know what he may be doing??

Welcome to TRT. Is the foot detached? If so, I would plan on him moving.

His foot is detached, now he looks like he is deflating. I'm worried. How could he go from so beautiful to so ugly in such a short period of time?? How long does it take the to move? He is stil in the same area as last night, but just looks bad.....

Slow down and don't fret too much. An anemonee and many corals can go from fully inflated and happy to tiny and shriveled up and sickly looking with in a few minutes. Just sit back and give him some time.
Unless you made some major changes in cheminsty or temp or something he shouldbe OK.

Its OK....we've all been there and done that. I have found more often than not that just letting the inhabitants be is best. Constant moving , adjusting and whatnot is usually what kills them!
