I traded a
Dragon wrasse that lived with my reef for over a year (before he developed an appetite for scarlets and snails) for a long
tentacle anemone over the weekend. My problem is after three days the anemone has not attached. He just rolls on his side. I have moved him from three different places and I know they are supposed to like sandy substrate as opposed to rock. I placed him in the sand next to the corner and surrounded by rock and he seemed the happiest although he would smash his tentacles in the glass a lot, but he did not attach. I'm just wondering how long this takes, because my flow has been turned down to 600gal per hour in a 150gal.tank. Did not have any problems with my bubble tip that has been around for years. Lighting is 2-250 10k, 2-160 AO3 VHO And 2- 40 no flo for sunrise and sunset(900 Watts) and all water parameters are good (Except my calcium is 150 because my b-ionic was wayyy out of date and not adding any ca to the tank). Any help is appreciated.
The anemone is in real good shape no tares and was eating and well secured in the previous tank for weeks.
I love spell check!!
