long gloves with elastic?? NOT the blue/orange ones....
My hands are taking a real beating since I set up this new big tank and since I also started working every other weekend at one of our LFS... they are actually CrACKING!!! I have tried (and thrown out) those big ol orange/blue rubber things they call aqua gloves... who could wear those and feel what the heck they are doing in the tank....anyone know of any other long gloves with elastic at the top so water doesn't get down in them?

Yeah, I have been doing that too, but those rubber bands are making my wrists bruised and my hands sore lol I thought I had heard at one time of some kind of vet gloves that are long and have elastric...

I am actually suffering from some rashes -- could be a bacterial infection. It's going away slowly but it's been a month. I do not put my right arm in the tank. The orange handed gloves are impossible. I was thinking of asking my vet but just thought -- isn't this what we love google for?

LOL, Andy, you are my true friend...
I am the Google-Queen... I can find anything, anyone, anywhere...lol My neighbor in Oregon once saw some really expensive fabric that she wanted to make her drapes with...I found it online at a fabric supplier that sold to the public also at about half the cost... just from seeing the fabric sample she brough home...I will look for gloves... just thought someone already knew where to find some...

yup you should be able to get the vinyl toss gloves used by vets when examining bovines or artificially inseminating them
