We're new nano reefers and were looking into purchasing some pieces from www.liveaquaria.com has anyone used them or have any feedback?

Thanks!

its one of the biggest on the net, although I have never ordered from them theyre most likely pretty honest and straight forward.

But youre in miami? Im sure there are far cheaper sources close to where you are, no?

Thumbs up

Yeah just so many stores and im looking for a particular specimen of Button Polyp so I was thinking about ordering it but we have ummmm like 5 stores within a 6-10 mile radius so its all good in the hood or under the hood of our nano cube, just was wondering though in case we do decide to order something I'll look around local first then maybe order as a last resort. Thanks for the info.

I've bought lots of stuff from them, live and bry goods. I do however. buy all my live stuff here now. www.vividaquariums.comDave and Amy have been great. I have had problems with both co's. with live goods, but with vivid you pick up the phone and talk to the owner, not a sales person.

I've only ordered once from liveaquaria but both corals arrived in excellent shape. It's not much to grade on a whole, but again, I was happy with my experience. I would definately order again, and probably will.

Ive ordered from them twice. First order was a pearl bubble coral, an O. Clownfish, and a few snails/hermits. Unfortunately the clown didnt make it (they refunded the money back to credit card without even requesting the specimen. The Pearl Bubble was FANTASTIC! Ive only seen one bubble equally as healthy in a LFS (and we've got good stores around here) Got a couple extra snails/hermits (which is typical of most online orders)
I think the fult was really on FedEx for the clown... I ordered Standard Overnight (by 3pm) and he got there at about 2:50. It was over 90 that day....

The second order was a flasher wrasse, a citron goby, a favites brain coral and some snails/hermits. Everything arrived in great shape. Fish are very healthy and active within 12 hours. Tho I'd give the brain a 7 out of 10. And ofcourse, some extra snails/hermits.

So I guess overall with my personal experience Ive been 80% satisfied... and will probably order from them in the future sometime.

Shipping and handling is killer!

I order everything there. Divers den is great. AWESOME customer service, especially with live aquaria and etropicals. Divers den allows you to see exactly what you will receive. I only buy tank raised fish and specifically aquacultured coral, just a personal thing. hth
