Live rock online

OK, Since I'm sure you have had the opportunity to purchase LR from the online retailers, what has it been like? I'm looking at purchasing a box of uncured Figi rock and I wanted to know how it has been for you guys. Time isn't an issue for curing, so I'd like to get the uncured and have a chance to see some more life. What do you guys/gals think?

Hi,

I bought some lv at my LFS, 20 pounds of fiji uncured and 15 pounds of marshal island. the fuji has lots of life coming on. I've spotted a few hitch hikers. I like the shape and color of the marshal island better though, wish it was uncured. Marshall island is more expensive but lighter and you get more for your money.

Have a good day.

I bought all my rock online 45 lbs of Vanisi from http://www.exoticfish.com/ very nice stuff. I also bought 90 lbs from www.tbsaltwater.com it was aquacultured rock. It has tons of life on it, the only draw backs are hitch hiker crabs and manits shrimp, and it is not as porous as other rock. I would get the uncured rock you will get a lot more life on your rock.(IMO)
