Live Rock in IL

Does anyone know of any place in IL i can get Live Rock at for a good price? I have seen it for $6 per lb and $8.99 and $9.99 per lb? Im only looking for about 10 to 20 pounds and for that little the shipping costs from the web seem to make it more expensive seening as i will still need to be cured to make sure there is not dead stuff one it.

Phil, I too was having a hard time finding nice live rock or reasonably priced. After reading thru the board I decided to try Premium Aquatics... Jason is very good there. I ordered 30 lbs from him and at his price plus shipping it still only cost me around $5.50 to $6.50 per pound and the rock was wonderful. I was very satisfied and I would highly recommend their rock.

Phil, where are you in IL? When I need rock, I got to Harbor Aquatics in IN, roughly 1-1.5 hr drive for me, I'm near O'Hare. Jason at Premium Aquatics is also very good, he's about a 3 hr drive away. Too far for me to drive, I just order through the mail for stuff from him. I do not have rock from him, just dry goods and livestock. These two firms are usually frequently recommended.
