live rock in chilly display

hey guys i have a little ten gallon set up right now housing my fish and coral until my new tank is ready for them..it is cycled but i havent put any of the live rock in the new tank yet(the rock has been in my old tank for over a year and was out of water no more than a minute so i would say its cured and shouldnt cause a cycle).My question is will the critters on my live rock survive in a tank that 71 degrees when the tank there in now is 79 degrees?(i was seeing if i could get by without a heater but its looking like i will have to purchase one).so transfer some of the live rock now or wait until the new tank is heated up?let me know-drew

for the most part I think they will survive, May have some die off.

could i do a bag float of a couple of peices of rock and possibly acclimate the critters better?how long would it take for such a temp difference?-drew
