Well, I need to do some testing on a new camera system we bought, and nothing better to test then with Live pictures of my tank!
The link below is for media player only. No Real or Quicktime sorry.

Must agree with the Colonel. Very nice stream.
(and a nice tank too! )
however...if you toggle to another application, then come back in a few moments, it seems to get jerky. But that could be me..hehee
also, hate to tell you this...but i just saw someone pouring motor oil in the tank!
(just kidding..heheh)

I the AXIS 205 from http:// www.axis.com. Although I'll be going with a much higer quality at a later time. This is nothing...lol
For us nerds:
I have a wireless G laptop next to the tank in pumping a 800kbps video feed to a dedicated server in Texas sitting on a 100mb pipe. I'm able to handle about 200+ users at a time from this one video stream on my cable modem.

Yea I remember someone else had a stream on here! Its what gave me the idea!
And by the way, all the software to do this is available for free, and looks just as good with a standard webcam.

well my upload speed to be able to host it my self at home isnt the best, i would need to upload it to a server somewhere with a better connection like you are doing. To be honest i do a lot of wireless networking and for it to be able to stream live like that still is **** good. Maybe you can send me a link to the software online that you are using to do this and i might set mine back up. I was trying to do mine without software at first build my own page and have a ftp server upload images to it ever 3 seconds but i would like to play around with this live stream stuff.

Very nice, It got jerky for me as well after coming back to the stream from another program. Stopping and starting the stream seemed to fix it.
LOL, Someone just moved the camera.

Yea the reason its jerky is because i'm surfing here =) Plus being wireless doesnt help.
The magic software I'm using is Windows Media Encoder =) You can download it from Microsoft. Then I'm pushing to a Windows Media Server also available with windows 2003 server edition (through add/remove programs)
I'm still messing with diffrent bit rates and stuff, but even with a 128kbps upload, which most everyone with DSL/Cable should have, its plently smooth for you to watch at work, or give to a friend.
Windows Media Encoder will do everything you need to get online and streaming from your home.

That was me! I can't wait to get my new tank up and start streaming that. It's cool to leave the house and then click on my tank and watch. I just found me missing tripod today too, that's because I had to clean and make room for the new tank.
