Little Giant is too noisy!

Not even sure how many GPH this thing does, it's what my LFS recommended.
Model # 4MDQX-SC

This thing is too loud, I can hear it humming upstairs.

Anybody have experience with a comparable flow rate pump, but quiet?

Maybe put it on a foam pad.If you unplug it would work!

I have always used little giant pumps , I guess I just live with the noise , I really don't know what other pumps out there are going to make less noise , try putting a mouse pad under the pump to lower the noise level. one reason I always used little giant is the fact that they last , they have for Me , Vince

I put a mouse pad under it to start off, it's not the vibration. It's just a noisy operating pump.

I'm going to maybe try a Poseidon, or Quite One, and keep the Little Giant as a backup. From what I've been reading, Little Giants are noisier than other pumps.
