Lionfish stopped eating


Ive had my lionfish for several months now and about 1 week ago he stopped eating, ive tried to feed him live food but he runs from it. Used to love eating frozen krill, mythsis shrimp, squid, ext. Can ne 1 help me?

Does he look healthy.???

I.E. no signifigant fin rot, visible tumors, ich or anything else out of the ordinary???

No not unhealthy just not lookin hearty, i guess kind of skinny. I ve tried minnows and guppies. He swims away from them like he/she is affraid. I just dont get it. As for the fin rot ext. not even 1 fish has ne disease cause thats what i was thinking. If he is sick it not visibly.

well thats a move in the right direction! He/she must be feeling a little better to even go after it. It's always been my experience when a fish does that(goes after the food then spits it out) he eats shortly after. Lets hope yours does as well!
