Lion Q?

I was wandering if there are any lions that could go into a feef tank?
I was thinking of a fu-man-chu(?) or a fuzzy dwarf.
thanks for any info
Mike

Theoretically, you can keep a lion in a reef tank. On the practical side though, it's difficult. They are big eaters and poopers, which is hard on the tank's water parameters. They'll eat your shrimp and any fish that are not 2/3's their size. (Some people say 1/2 their size but I have seen evidence to the contrary with my own eyes!) You'd use up a good portion of your tank's stocking capacity on one fish.

They also are not very active fish, most of the time staying in one place unless they are on the hunt. They are ambush predators so they stay still most of the time.

Lion fish are best left in FO tanks, IMO.
