lighting brands

so i think i decided on 14k after reading some posts. i have a 10k that imo is too yellow, but i like the growth. i also have a 20k that i find way to blue, but like how it colors my corals. 14k should be a happy medium right? would i lose that much growth going from 10k to 14k?
i have narrowed it down to the XM, Hamilton, and Ushio brands and am now wondering which one is the way to go. which is the best quality, which is the brightest, etc... i would love to hear some opinions and why!

I recently got some Aqualine 10K bulbs that have an output of 13K. Much better than my old Coralife 10K.

Personally i really like the xm 15k's. Ill spare whiskey the trouble and tell you right now that the par sucks on them. But the color is awesome and I get great growth out of them.

150wDE coralife 10ks are what i was using. if i remember correctly the aqualines were around $35, so the price is definately right!(about $20 less than the others i listed) how do they compare to those?

how is the color? i really dont like the really blue look, or the really yellow that my coralife 10k put out. i want a nice white, clear look.

I think the xm 10 k's look yellow too.

If you think this looks too blue(Whiskey does ), then the XM 15 k's will be too blue for you

The aqualine 10K bulbs are more blue than a standard 10K but more of a white blue. Not yellow like the coralife were.

And dont worry about starting anything between whiskey and I..........Its a ongoing thing..... lol

He thinks you should look at the world through lemon colored lenses

but seriously....his 10k bulbs have more than twice the par of my 15k's. Does that mean that stuff grows twice as fast?? no way. Does it grow faster................most likely

its all personal preference
