lighting advice for 10gal prop tank

looking use a standard 10 gallon tank for a prop tank mainly for sps corals. it will be plumbed into my big tank with probably a powerhead in there too. it will probably be bb with just some eggcrate frag racks.

what do u think the best lighting would be for it?

im thinking 70w hqi, any imput on that?

I had thought about doing the same thing before and I was also thinking a 70 watt 20K hqi.

I was curious about T5 lighting over it. but have not found a fixture that is smaller than 24" yet. You can get a 24" 4 X 24 watt fixture for less than $100 if you don't mind the overhang.

a 150watt 14k or 20k bulb over a 10 gallon would work great

yea thats the problem with t5, i only have 22" to work with where it would go.

i wouldnt mind going with 150w if i had to, u dont think 70w would be enough?

ya 70watt 10k would be enough but instead of haveing actinics go with a 150 watt 20k so you dont loos par and still get the nice look
