Light Fixture

Has anyone heard or used these lights sold on ebay?

Odyssea Jebo Lights

I have looked at them and can't believe the price.

Are they worth buying?

Thanks,

Mike

well........ I've heard mixed reviews about them. Some people think they're great and some people hate them. To be honest I think I've heard more pos. feedback on them than I have negative though. With that being said.......... you do get what you pay for in this hobby. The bulbs that come with them I've heard are junk and need to be replaced immediately. What are your tank specs???? How big of a fixture do you need??

I wouldn't be so sure of that. There is nothing in my homeowners insurance policy that dictates if a fire is caused by a non UL approved device my claim would be refused.

Also, just because a product is not UL listed, it doesn't mean that it fails to meet UL requirements. It is very possible that the product in question has never been tested by UL or had its specifications and manufacturing process evaluated by UL.

That said, Jebo products appear to be of substandard quality.
