got a 75 gal FOWLR with a 48" atinic + 50/50 + 10,000K 40W a piece

not bad light for fish only but how will my LR do if i went larger

i am a big fan of my all glass lid and would not want to get rid of it if i got much more powerful lights i assume i would have to so i don't boil my fish, no heater now and at 79 degrees always

what do you think?

well the live rock wont care if u go to more lighting but im sure that if u get corals they would appreciate the upgrade. also keep in mind that glass tops reduce gas exchange in the tank so it might be better if u take it off. Why a big fan of the glass top? worried about fish jumping out? U can use egg crate if thats the reason. It keeps the fish in and still let the tank breathe
