Lighing Question - Specifically Bulbs

What is the deal with Ushio Bulbs? Are they only for certain systems, or can I you use them on any system? For instance I know about the difference of HQI and all that - but if I have been running a double ended HQI 250 watt Hamilton bulb, can I switch to a double ended 250 Watt HQI Ushio bulb?

As far as I know there should be no problem switching to the Ushio bulbs.

you should be able to. the only issues i have heard about have had to do with some e-ballasts not being able to run Radiums. Ushio are pretty standard.
