LFS tank Display What kind of Mushrooms , 15+ years old
They say this tank has been setup for over 15 years and some of these mushrooms are over 6 inches around. the entire tank is covered in them. I took a couple quick snaps they arnt the greatest. What do you think they are. And I had no idea they could get so huge!

They look like the run of the mill, regular Discoma mushroom. they even look to be striped.

neat the way they are all clustered, they look like real forest mushrooms growing on a rotted stump.

Totally off topic, I know,.. and I'm sorry, but it is a cool pic
Some of those mushrooms are really 6" across? That is huge for one of those guys,.. I've never seen them more than 2" or so.

Those discoma's will split and drop babies like crazy! I have also seen an Older tank almost taken over by them before....it does look need a bed of shrooms!

Whiskey Im dead serious they are as big as my hand open with fingers. I almost out when flipped when I saw them.

Yeah,.. I was walking through the forest just after a light snowfall and saw that,.. and the first thing I thought,.. is "Dang! You really can't kill brown cap!  "

I've had red discomas get that large in a lower-light ( 80 watt NO over a 20 high) high nitrate (50ish) tank.
