LFS locations?

I live in Southeastern Ohio. So far I can only find one LFS and its 45 mins away from me. He's been in business since 1968 and his tanks look good, but a lot of things he's telling me to do are the opposite of what I am reading here. ( Like using CC as a substrate).

Does anyone know of any other LFS in this area? This guy is really helpful and friendly and seems to know what he's talking about. He tells me to be patient, and wont even sell me anything without a water sample, but I'd just like to have another option if need be.

It is nice to find someone at a LFS who actually cares, unfortunatly he may be a little outdated, like stuck on 1968.
Good luck with your search.

I am five hours (well in the summer without snow) from an LFS here and depend on mailorder. Some places like www.saltwaterfish.com and www.marinedepotlive.com are great and I have never had any problems with their livestock, except it is kind of puny sometimes initially.

I as well ahve to order most stuff online since my LFS usually just gets the common softies. I am now being picky and looking for certain LPS and SPS and colorations.

www.liveaquaria.com is a great place as well and usually run ~$200 and free shiping.
www.saltwaterfish.com as mentioned above is a good place.
www.cquarium.com WYSIWYG
www.justphish.com WYSIWYG
http://www.drmaccorals.com/sys-tmpl/door/ same $225 and frees hipping usually-WYSIWYG

Some of these are WYSIWYG and nmake for great exact pieces
Good luck

Thanks for the replies. I've been checking out www.saltwaterfish.com and they have a lot of nice stuff. Especially since im just gonna stick with FOWLR until i get some experience. I see they're offering free shipping right now on fish too...
