lettuce nudibranch kin?

I saw on a live rock of mine tonight about a 1/2" nudibranch. Its colors were exactly like the lettuce nudi but only a 1/2" long. Looked like grownup just alot smaller. I had 2 in my tank a couple months ago (grownup) and they just disappeared, could this be their kin?

I was gonna flush him thinking he was a coral eater or something but upon further examination he looked just like the 2 lettuce I had only smaller. Hmmmmm............hope I see him again

yes, it could be a small lettuce nudi. they have been know to reproduce in the aquarium. they lay eggs. you only need two to get them to lay eggs.

I hope you have some hair algae. Or he may be set for the same fate as the others, They do such a good job on hair algae they often exaust their food supply and starve..
And most only eat hair algae. Most!

Yah, he is seeming to like my tufts of briopsis. Umm, upon quick examination I saw 4 more on other rocks. But exact clones of their parents and all my corals are happy so I am not worried...............yet
