Lets go shopping!!!! DIY project.....

OK I just got out of my MCAT class and I want to by the plumbing for my CLS. Ive been looked forward to this for like 2 weeks now and I just decided to make sometime to at least by the plumbing for it so here we go...

What I have: GenX PCX40, and about 6' of 3/4" PVC pipe

What I want to do: I have a 55gal tank. I want to put the GenX under the stand and have PVC come from under the stand and over the top of the tank. Inside the tank I will have a spraybar behind the rocks towards the bottom of the tank.

What do I need: From looking at CLSs on here for now what appears to be 2 years, I think I need a system with (I have 0 plumbing vocab) a shut off valve on the input and outlet from the GenX. And I need to install some type of way to prime the system...which I dont really know how to do, and ...... I dunno what else do I need to make this happen???

On this CLS system, there looks as if there is a way to prime it. The tallest piece to the rt side looks like where you add water. Do you guys know what it is called or what I should look for in Home Deopt? This is kind of the way I was modeling my CLS after... good bad any suggestions...?

I am working on this. For my 55 a Mag 5 and a SCWD are all that is needed in addition to the PVC. Note the priming tube thingy.

This is not my idea but another guys I am copying, and he did the heavy lifting on this. I am a lowly PVC cement gluer guy.
