leathers with black spots

hey all! I have 2 leathers. one is a toadstool, not sure about the other. Some of the polyps on both leathers are turning black-anyone know what this may be??

Well black spots are usually signs of tissue necrosis

but it might be mucus coat build up that needs to come off, do you have it in moderate current? HAve you tried squirting it with a turkey baster(new,reef only) ?
Any way to get a picture of it, that would help alot

hey thanks-what causes tissue necrosis? I checked my water yesterday, and everything looks good. The only thing I have done different is I added a blue spot puffer. What can I do to help them out?
