Lawnmower Blenny is dead...

I have had my first tank casualty. That lawnmower blenny I bought on friday died last night. I noticed right after I bought him that his eyes were cloudy. Last night, he was running into things and I knew he was going to die. Im not really worried about that though, because this fish store that I buy things from, their fish are always dying and look like crap. I think I might buy from someone else from now on.

I cant send pictures because I still dont have my computer yet, so I drew what happened in paint.

OUCH, reefworried! I'm sorry that your LMBlennie died But it's a crime that the store doesn't care any more for the lives of the critters in their store!

Thanks cath, but dont feel sorry for me....feel sorry for lenny's wife and kids that will grow up without a father and will be forced to move to the poor south side of detroit and only to settle for the government's measley 10,000 dollar life insurance policy....or was that from another movie??

yeah, that was the only fish in there. I think I will wait a while and then go and pick up a bicolor blenny from this other store that is far away. i also might just wait and buy alot from saltwater fish.com . If you spend over 80 bucks, its free shipping

If that was your first fish let the clean up crew hang out for a month or so until you are sure that everything has cycled. For the fish to die so quickly means something is wrong. The lawnmower is a pretty hardy species. I lost a couple of fish although the test kit was okay starting out and as it all matures life gets easier.

Yeah, I think that is what I am going to do phishnoob. Besides, I don't have any more money because of my computer. SO I have to wait a while. Thanks for the feedback.

I agree with Sally. Funny picture. You should think about doing comics for us every once in a while! I love stuff like that.

Sorry to hear about Lenny. I hope his family likes Detroit. At least they'll be close to Cedar Point.

thank you all for your condolences. Although I didn't know lenny the blenny very well, for the short time I knew him, I knew that he was special. I know that there will never be a fish as good as lenny the blenny was, unless the fish is alot cheaper and actually survives in my tank, but I must move on. Trial and error.
