Lawnmower blenny attacking Flame Hawkfish....

I've got a 55 gallon reef with a 3.5 inch Lawnmower Blenny. I just put in a Flame Hawkfish about 1.75 inches. The Blenny is going crazy and attacking him. The flame even jumped out of the tank. He is ok and back in the water, but........

I turned off all the lights and am hoping things will calm down by the morning.

Any suggestions or feedback?

Sometimes if you put the net in the tank, the fish will be so afraid of the net they will forget about eachother, someone told me that once on this site, never tried it though......

Thanks. I did that when I put him back in the tank. I just checked and he "seems" to be ok for now.

BTW, I am a Steeler fan. Please no wise cracks, I just thought I'd say wuz up PA.

lawnmower blennies can be pretty mean sometimes. they tend to do best when they are added last.

you can try the ol' rearrange the tank trick.
