Lawnmower Blennie Feeding

I've read different things on feeding a lawnmower blennie. Initially my understanding was that they would do fine with only the algae on my LR but I've recently seen things suggesting that you also supplement with other herbivore foods. I've had my lawnmower blennie in the tank for 1 week and he does do a lot of eating off of the rock, snails, and overflow but I wanted to make sure he is getting enough. I can't tell a difference in size but he is hard to get a full body view of. He is really the only true herbivore in my tank. I have a midas blennie, 2 true percs, 3 green chromis, and a six line wrasse. I feed them a mix of frozen spirulina brine, frozen mysid, prime reef, formula one and sometimes a little flake for variety. The lawnmower does not show any interest in this. He could be getting scraps but I'm not sure because he is in the rocks. Any advice?

Tank setup: 65G megaflow with 15G sump, CPR skimmer, 120 lb LR, 10 lbs live sand.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I think people usually supplement them if the algae is very low to nonexistent. Could be wrong though, mines been in the tank for about 3-4 months without algae tablet food now but algae is not hard to find in my tank

You have enough live rock to sustain the blennie, You can add some green marine algae to the tank or some sinking algae wafers.

I have a lawnmower blennie and wondered the same thing! The LFS suggested that I put in an algae sheet once or twice a week (just a piece) for the blennie to eat off of also. Now my blennie eats the fish flake food and mysis shrimp also! He's a crazy pig and I don't worry anymore if he is getting enough food......hope that helps.

Mine eats just about anything i offer, flake /frozen/pellets etc,, it'll "lipmark" the tank glass if i don't clean it off fast enuf,,,i'll have a glass panel covered in lip prints.
When i got him at first, he did not noticably eat in front of me, just kinda hung out. took a while b4 i got him to eat,or see him eat,,,i can not feed the tank for say two days, and his belly will be bulging, so he's getting way plenty in the tank , with out my help.(need to take a pic of him,he's got real nice color, and has grown quite a bit)
My wife calls him "Waldo" cuz he'll be sitting right in front of you , and you never see him,,,She'll say alright , Where's Waldo,,,and proceed to try to find him,,,
