Lawn Mower Blennies
I would like to add a LMB to my 75, Can they be bought in pairs ? Or is it best to only have 1 per tank, I was gonna go to the LFS this weekend and would like to get 2 if possible.

Hmmm, new one on me,,,as i've always had only one in a tank,,,,
got one in my 75 BTW,,,and it seems to have plenty to keep it's belly way full,,,took a while b4 i actually saw it eat tho,,,,so don't worry if the one(s) you get don't take off eating right away,,,

They reccomend one, as they can be type aggressive. In a 75, one will be happier anyway.
They are GREAT fish and have the most personality of any fish I have had. And do a great job at tank maintainance as well. Mine have always adapted to eating mysis/brine as well.

it depends i guess. ive seen them at the fish store separated by a glass partition, still trying to get at each other to fight. if the lfs has two housed together successfully, you could give it a shot as long as they will take one back if it doesnt work out...? im not sure how to sex them. maybe someone else will chime in whose kept a pair together successfully? and in what size tank and exactly how did they acquire them/introduce them? (add one first, then the other later, or both at the same time, etc)?

Down here, LFS sells them in pairs, and keeps two or three in tanks with no problems from what i have seen.
They actually wouldnt split a pair a few months ago...
