Last night tank turned milky white.. Coral Spawn?

Well I've had a 55 gallon up and running for about 7 months now. Last night the strangest thing happend. Just as i'm about to go to bed at about 11pm last night, I checked the tank to find it was completly milky white. I have no idea what happened with my tank, and all is clear this morning. But a few people have mentioned that some corals might have spawned...

All my water is in check, Am=0 Nitrites & Nitrates=0 PH 8.0.

Nothing is dying in my tank, and unfortuanlly I dont have any pictures because I was too busy freeking out.

It looked like someone poured Milk in the tank..

Any ideas?

Do you dose Kalk? An overdose of Kalk will do this, corals usually survive and the water clears up in a few hours.

Other then that, it could be the corals. My Cereth snails have been laying eggs like crazy for the last few nights.

No urchin and no Kalk. I do use a phosban reactor but its a dark substance not...Actually now that I think about it it was unplugged for 2 days, so it wasnt that...

I havea flat brain coral, and last night it was acting strange, it was real expanded like i've never seen before, perhaps its the opne that spawns, or spewed this crap in the water...

Oh and the water was extra salty...j/k

Skeety I saw the picture of the urchin releasing that white milk stuff...While it looks like the same, I have 100 times more of that in my tank..

For example, if anyone knows how deep a 55 gallon is, its not very deep. I had a hard time making out the bottom of the tank it was that white..

Yeah...same here. Mine was spewing for like a full 5 seconds. The tank instantly was thicker than skim-milk. Cleared up in about an hour...but he still made me feel a little inferior.
