Loctite brand gel is my favorite. All crazyglue becomes inert and safe upon drying and/ or contact with your water.

It's safe to use directly on most corals. Works better if you dab the coral dry at the spot where you want to apply glue and also dry the spot of the rock you are attaching to. Any brand works fine, my recommendation would be to use the "gel" formulation.

It will burn and kill the parts of the corals it touches. Not to sound brutal, but that is part of the gluing game a lot of the times if the coral you are gluing is not already attached to rubble. Jut try not to get it in their mouths depending on what you are gluing......i have killed some zoas before by accidentally dropping them face side down in a glob of glue..

Otherwise it works best if you can use a dry or dried off peice of rubble...se t the glob of glue on it and let it sit for 30 seconds or so.....then dry off the part of the coral you plan on gluying with a q-tip towel.....stick it in place and hold it for long enough to not fall over......(some things like zoos you cna just set them in it). I then like to let is sit ont he counter for 3-15 minutes depending on the coral...........sps a few minutes...mushrooms and zoos 15+ minutes to give you an idea.

I use a ton of the stuff. Crappy thing about it..i cant find anywhere online to buy the loc-tite glue i use in bulk or large lots. I would seriously buy 20 or 50 of the packages if i could get a break on it. So if anyone knows please say so.

Currently i just buy it at wallyworld or homedepot...they both have it

I haven't had that problem yet, maybe a bit of good luck on my part. A lot of sites and people use super glue or some form of it (GARF for example) without much trouble. Maybe it is specific for the types of coral? With mushrooms and some softies that produce a slime coat, super glue does not stick well at all . For SPS, I've got limited experience.

it does......you just dont know it as the parts are covered up in glue......thats how it works and sticks

for the softies that slime you need to wipe the slime off kinda roughly with a q-tip...so it can get to the meat and burn and stick to it

for sps.....a qitip helps if you hold it at the base immediately after gluing so the water slime combo doesnt dilute the glue......

corals are tough and can lose tissue will no real ill effects
