John,

I have had no experience with this fish, but like you I find it very beautiful. I have heard they are pretty aggressive.

Maybe someone else has some experience with them.

From Scott Michael's book a pocketexpert guide to Marine Fishes he says that they get up to 15" in length should be kept in nothing SMALLER than a 135 and that they are not reef safe.
I have heard that they are not the easiest to keep and need a big tank, with lots of algea to graze on all day. I really want an angle but our 135 is going to be to small to keep an angle and they would probably eat my corals.
Hope that helps
Jonathan

Just to share my experience.

I got 1, about 2 inches or so. It was nice, eating, and recovered from ich and lymph due to transport stress.

Anyways, all was well until it was starting to fade in colors. I thought it was color changing, but what.. that small to change.. can't be.

It died one day, and didn't eat the same day. I think mine was cynaide caught. All this happened in a 2 months span..
GOOD LUCk, pick a good one.
