Welcome to TRT.
Pick up some Nori and a clip.
ps You might want to keep an eye open for the tang police.

I'm not the best person to talk to about fish, but with picky tangs I've had best luck with Misys shrimp and rubberbanding Nori to a small peice of Live rock.

Geoff, do you know about determining the sex of tangs? I've never run across any reliable information in the hobby.
And agreed on the rasping of rocks. My kole doesnt ever eat a lot of the food added to the tank, but is perpetually picking off the rocks. Not sure if it will keep forever doing that, but I've had it for a while now and it seems to still be quite healthy.

Try to soak your food items in garlic before feeding. I also try to dose each feeding with Selcon (vit supp) for a couple weeks when first introducing a new fish. Your LFS should have some in stock. In general, some fish species are more docile when feeding and will refuse or feed when others are done to avoid conflict. They may or may not adapt depending on their previous environment and the one you provide right now. I do not have a Kole, so I cannot speak about their normal feeding patterns or aggression.
Tangs are actively swimming species and the clown tang will most likely become more aggressive as he gets larger. They are quite defensive of their territory and when acclimated, become the tank bully. Even if you do not have any other fish in the tank, I would think of keeping only one. They will not thrive over a long period of time since each of the three species you described will grow to 7+ inches in adulthood..the clown grows to ~15" in the wild.
Just my humble thoughts.

How do the other fish respond when feeding the tank. Are you sure he's not afraid to eat? I use seperate feeding clips for my clown tang and my foxface. Having only one caused serious territorial issues. Now for the most part they stick to their own feeding clips. I agree that clown may be a problem later, mine is still very young and he has no problem terrorizing the foxface who is quite a bit larger. You may also want to keep a close eye on the clown tang. Sometimes even tho they eat they just wither away so make sure it stays fat. Good luck
