Kent Marine Zooplex

Anyone use this to feed their LPS, SPS or any corals.. I read on the bottle that the animal size is 800 microns, and that too big for most filter type feeders to eat... but my torch LPS could eat some and maybe my clam or some polyps may accept it..

Just wanted to know if it needs to be used very sparingly as not to cause high nutrients in the water and such...

Any suggestions for using it or just stay away... it doesn't smell bad, like dead DT's..

I use it. Corals that can eat larger particle sizes eat it, water-column feeding fish eat it.. cardinals, firefish etc. To my uneducated eye, it looks very much like the same creature in Cyclop-eeze, but it's in a solution. When you pour the solution into the tank you can see the tiny organisms with the naked eye. I've used it for over 2 years now but I also use Phytoplex and Chromaplex... we alternate so all creatures that use different particle sizes can find something to eat.

No Kent products do not stink like dead DT. The only thing that could make it smell off is if the bottle of product gets contaminated ... some people squirt the bottle into the top of the tank and may dip it and pick up tank water -- that will foul anything.

Use any liquid food sparingly and try to "think" of them as you would solid food... it is adding nutrients and organics to the water, so resist the urge to overfeed, and consider it with the whole food regimen in your tank.

Jenn that torch coral pictured on your website, he looks great... I have mine placed on the bottom of my 29G hopefully he can grow that big there as well... I have 135W of PC lighting I hope that will be fine for him, i read that needed moderate lighting.. I think I probably only have 25 gallons off SW so hopefully thats plenty of lighting for everything I have..
