Kalk or 2-part system?

What is better for dosing alk and calcium? Kalk or 2-part systems.

I guess it depends on how much work you want to do and what you have set up already. If you have some type of automatic topoff, then dripping kalk is probably better/simpler. If you don't have a sump or auto topoff, then a 2 part solution is nice. They're easy to use, provide a balanced alk/calc solution. Maybe someone else will have some ideas.

I got tired of the 2 part deal and hooked a PrecisionMarine kalkreactor into my auto topoff system. All you have to do is get your levels where you want them and then turn this beast loose. I am quite pleased w/ the results. Dump a few cups of kalk into the chamber once a month and you're done.

I make my own 2 part because it is very cheap (far cheaper than Kalk even) and I have more control over it then I would with a Kalk reactor. The problem is that right now I am dosing 70Ml of each part every day! Right now I am planning to get a dosing pump to add my 2 part for me, I think this will keep my levels stable, allow for easy changes to match my usage, and be easy and automated.
