Question

Just wondering...


Just now I was browsing the net for fish and came across a particular fish the

Rhinopias Scorpionfish selling for $800 Ive noticed fish in the USA are expensive but why is this particular one so expensive? Its not rare here in Hong Kong in fact i rmember seeing one going for $120 hk dollars. so whys it so expensive? just wonderin.

Adam,

I've had a whole thread about the prices at the markets in Asia. The fish, clam and coral prices in the Mon Kok market are insane!

BTW, I'm going there again next week, wan't to come along?

Colonel, the question is, can you bring back any of that stuff you see? I'm going to the Philippines soon, with a layover in HK, and I'd love to be able to bring home several boxes!

I always think about it. The people in the store will tell you "Its OK, we pack in stryofoam boxes for people to take to the US all the time!" I just have not had the guts to try it yet. When is your trip? How long is your layover? Maybe if I'm in HK, I could meet you and take you to the market.
