Talking

just thought id share

well i have read some on mantis shrimps or stomatopods and i read a few things on their hammers claws wht ever you would like to call them. well i found out that is they dont use them that they will lose them during multing. so i went to my lfs and got a small snail for him to hammer away at well it has been a month or so and the 2 inch mantis is still afraid of the 1/2 inch tall snail.
just thought it was funny.

What kind of mantis do you have? Did you catch it from your live rock?

I need to start a small tank with a mantis in it! They are such beautiful predators of the sea!
