Just thought I would share!

I purchased a Kent ProScraper to clean my aquarium glass and it works GREAT and causes very little sandbed movement....even one handed while holding the baby. You guys may already know about it or have something you like...but if not I would highly recommend it. It's kind of pricy $19. But for all the money we spend on our reefs what's $19 to be able to view it clearly.

Those do work great on glass There's a version for acrylic tanks that I haven't been able to get my hands on yet so I still make do with the handy dandy old credit card!

Big thumbs up on the Kent scraper line,,,always thought they were not gonna be any good (and too pricey) but i had some store credit left from some frags-n-stuff at my LFS,,,and figured i'd try the Kent scrapers (kinda the "not really my money thing"),,,, BOY!!! was i pleased!!! got the scraper and the glass and acrylic attachment heads ,AND the "aqua-mop" (my favorite) have not used a razor blade since!!

"ya right,,,,,a plastic scraper is gonna clean as well or better than a razor blade",,, YUP! YUP! YUP! IT DOES!!

it has a VERY strong handle , very little flex to it,,,you don't know how many "1/2" handles i have from the cheapie white razor blade scraper/planting stick deals ,,,coulda bought the Kent a long time ago with the $$$ i spent on the cheapie ones,,,

sorry for the long post , but i do like to spread info/recommends on stuff out there for us folks that work well,,,so if anyones on the fence about getting a Proscraper from Kent,,, thank me later,,,heheheh.

Alice,, can't vouch for the acrylic tank scraper ,,as far as coraline removal etc.,, but i used the plastic scraper on the top panel of my 180 FO , and it removed the tough green algae from it better than any thing else i tried b4,,,, also , the aqua-mop attachment is GREAT for the everyother day or so glass clean up,,,, can wipe down the 75 reef in no time now,,,these scrapers and a refractometer oughta go home with every reefer starting out,,

What? And have new reefers miss out on all the fun of getting saltwater up to their shoulders and running down into their armpits?? Nawwww.
