Hi Steve,

Good to have you here!
The Reef Tank doesn't aim to be the biggest reef board but we do try to have a friendly, flame-free atmosphere for beginners and experts alike.
Please tell us more about yourself and your tank(s).
Again, Welcome to TRT.

Hi Fishdaddy ,
I have a 55 gal 2 yr old full reef (SPS,Clams,softies)
and a rather new 30 gal reef. Thing is , I'm breaking both tanks down because I'm buying a house , I'll be setting up a 180 gallon reef there. I'll let you know how it goes.
I have a few buddies in New Jersey Reefers Club that you prolly know and I'm active in that club. I'll set up a link to my homepage.
My favorite corals are plating Montiporas, tabletop acros and photosynthetic Gorgonians. Most all of my corals are tank-raised and I love to trade SPS when I have tank room available.
(I'll have a whole lot soon)

Welcome!
Nice website, your tank looks very healthy and well designed. I am still new to this hobby and use tanks like that for inspiration. I especially enjoy that it's "only" 55gal , sometimes those 100g+ size tanks seem unattainable.

I must say the tank is very well established and I've soaked up as much info in the hobby as I can absorb. but believe me, I'm still learning

Nice corals, Steve. 55's are tough (I know, that's what we have ) and you've done a great job with yours!
BTW, that NJ Reef Club looks like a wild bunch!
