Just ordered my UV S.

I went to the LFS today and talked w/ the owner, who is very knowledgeable a helpful, we got to talking about UV S. and he said they are very helpful, es. when adding new fish to a tank because they may bring bacteria or something from a diff part of the ocean than the other fish and it will take care of that. I orderd the Turbo-Twist 3X UV Sterilizer hopefully it is a good one, I didn't know which one to pick since there are so many.

Are you doing a fish tank or a reef tank. Another thing UV is good at is killing pods an other little things in your water.

I am not really sure yet, but I know they are really good fighting dieases, and bacteria

not really needed in a reef tank but good for fowlers mo.
