Unhappy

Just in time for my B-Day, my favorite fish dies :(

Yes, I'm a man, and yes, I'm admitting that I *ALMOST* cried....

I noticed a few spots on my Blue Neon goby just a couple days ago, as I've done in the past, I added some garlic guard to the food and it went away...

Then two days ago, I noted two spots on my powder blue tang.... So I followed the Seachem directions and mixed up some food with metrozo. and focus and started feeding.

Yesterday I came home and couldn't find Powder anywhere.........

All other fish are fine (purple tang, foxface lo, maroon clown, LMB, neon goby, diamond goby, 3 green chromis)....

So now I'm depressed, I keep thinking about everything I could have / should have done...

Rest in peace Powder, you were my favorite.

I got him back in early or mid Dec. before xmas (if I remember right).

He was the coolest fish... I knew about all the posts and websites out there saying how difficult this fish is to keep etc.etc., and I was having such good luck with him.... I was even able to get to the point where I could put a defrosted cube of Formula 2 in my hand and he would "eat out of my hand".

I hate ich...

Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts....

I agree about kill'n ich quick! Don't assume you have time to battle it, attack it as soon as you see it!

I've pretty much come to the conclusion, that there really wasn't anything much to be done on my end. I no longer have a QT tank (I thought I was done adding livestock other than corals a month ago), and I didn't have anyway of getting a 10gal setup in time (only other tank I have left.

Things will get better though, I'm finally selling off all the stuff in my 75gal freshwater tank (sorry guys just about everything is sold already, if there is anything left, I'll post a message for you guys rather than hitting ebay off the bat). I still haven't decided on what I'm going to do with this tank, though I know it's going to be a Saltwater tank of some sort.....
