Thanks Patrick! I even decided not to use MH on my contest tank just so I could have firefish.

I just used the basic idea of a G3, took a skimmer body that used to be part of a built in skimmer/sump thing, gutted the skimmer body, made a new water level adjustment (That was part of the sump setup before) measured and made a new inlet, used a new pump, glued a bottom onto the previousally open skimmer body and designed/built a venturi for the pump.
It really wasn't that hard, but if you want me to I could post a couple of pictures when I get home.

I have an old skimmer i'm not using that would be nice to get it functioning again. The biggest problem was that the exhaust isn't adjustable. Just curious how you made it adjustable.

I just broke out the old junk, then installed a 90 deg in the skimmer, and a gate valve on the outside. Adjusting the gate valve adjusts the water hight in the skimmer. It worked for my design, but I'm not sure if it would work for you.

Can remember the name of it. I bought it about 5-6 years ago. Was suppose to be good back then. Guess that doesn't say much.
