Jumping on the T-5 bandwagon!!!
Just placed an order w/ Sunlight supply and I will be getting 36" 4 bulb T-5 HO fixture (metal leg mounted) w/ guiseman bulbs within a matter of days!
I decided on 2 11k aquas blues, and 2 pure actinics to get the best combonation of growth and color
To top it all off I want to join the dark side, by getting my first sps frags on trade! (hyndoforna, and birds nest for cloves)
The plan is to keep richordia, zoanthids, and lps at the lower half of the tank and sps at the top.
I am still waitng till after the summer to add a sump and a new skimmer so I can keep it simple for the GF.
Anyway please feel free to skool me with your experiences with these lights and or converting to a mixed reef

Very cool!!! You will really like that fixutre I think Refresh my memory,.. is that fixture fan cooled?
In the future,.. if you find you want a little more light,.. if you swap the "True" atinic (420NM) bulbs with The Atinic "plus" bulbs (460NM) you can about double the par out of each bulb,.. the atinic plus (or atinic blue) also gives you a much briter blue look to the eye,.. it's not as dark purpleish.
HTH,
Whiskey

I was under the precept that the true actinc the purple bulb was spread over a wider light freq. so it would give more growth? Darn it are you sure? If so I need to make a call.

Ok I called my boss and chaged them out for actinic+ Hopefully they can change it before the order is shipped, but it was just placed 30 mins ago so i hope it will be ok.
Now that you mention it there are a few tanks at work that have the pure actinics on them and they appear dim.
Thanks for the heads up whiskey

Sounds fun... I am a hopeless MH Zelot... I no longer have any use for the VHO's or PC's except on my nano at work... until i can afford to replace it.
