jph's new tank build thread
mods, sorry if this is the wrong forum, please move if needed.
i'm anctiously awayting delivery of my brandnew tank.
this will be my first saltwater tank, had two freshwater tanks many, many years ago.
anyway, this will be a 90 gallon acrylic seaclear tank
and by now i'm pretty sure that im my rush to get everything here, i ordered the wrong sump (tall rather than long) so i'll have to figure out what i'm going to do, probably just buy a new one and hope someone is interested in taking the 25 gallon (24x12x20) off my hands.
anyway, i just wanted to get this thread started
this weekend i hope to have the stand frame more or less done.
let the mayhem begin
J.

well, i learned a few things this weekend.
- four hands make a build project go pretty smooth
- one electric drill without backup battery can't keep up with us
- no matter how good you planned, an extra trip to home depot is inevitable
apart from that the build is going pretty smooth.

ps: yes, i know, i over-engineered it it'll hold an elephant (or two)

I too hate that law...but I have an alternate law...
-no matter how good you planned, an extra trip to home depot is inevitable, and it is always going to cost you $50 or more, well me anyway...
