Jahreefer's Official 180 reef Build...

I am so excited to finally have this tank at my house, it is all mine. The build is going to take al ong while for it will all be DIY and it is going to be perfectly right before the first drop of water goes in. The first step will be the stand using 1 1/2" angle iron welded then face it with a nice mahogony or oak. Hope you all enjoy the pics of the new tank, also some pics of my current 55.

Thanks there Whiskey, it is going to be a huge project but I am so looking forward to it. I estimate approximately 2 years before I will have it fully up and running but hey there is alot to do and nothing will be left out or skimmed on.

It is a great feeling when friends have been coming over lately and when they see the 180 sitting in the garage on those 55 gallon drums...the look on there faces is awesome. It is easily to forget but non reefing or aquarium people cant imagine a tank that big in there house. Most are at awe at my 55, but I am not surround by fellow reefers either in my area.

You should have seen the look on my face when I was trying to put a 180G tank into a 1984 Toyota tercell I got it in there though!

What are you planning to keep in this tank? What kind of coral are you setting it up for?
