Iwaki water pumps has anyone used one
setting up my 75 and i'm in the process of making RODI water i filled my sump to see if my little giant pump would be able to handle running the hydor water deflectors, well not enough pressure so i'm looking at maybe buying an iwaki pump these are the two i'm looking at. any thoughts?

Iwakis are nice and I do own them, but they are not cheap. Look into PanWord they were designed by the cheif engineer of Iwaki Japan. They are actually better and quiter and CHEAPER. I also like Blueline.
Better pumps for the money IMO.

is that a typo tank is 75 and that would be enough to handle two water deflectors?

Why not the 50PX-X? 1100gph 13' max head.
Why do you need a pressure pump for a return? Is your sump in the basement?
And what do you mean by water deflectors?

That's interesting!
It's going to shoot water all 360 degrees, right?
Are they going to be set up at the same time so that they meet at one point for the deflection or are you going to have them shooting in all different directions?

I have one of those on a Maxijet 1200 and it rotates with no problem. They are not extremely strong and are only rated up to 310gph. The concept is interesting but I don't think that they are going to hold up to what you are trying to do.
