Iwaki pumps

does anyone have an opinion on the Iwaki pumps regarding the motors...american or japanese....I would like positive and negative feedback......

Hate to say it, but the American motor isnt very dependable. I have a good friend that ran a 40 series(i believe) and it lasted all of 9 months before it quit. I have been running little giants for years(one has been running non-stop for 7+ years)

I have a 30 series japanese model.

I've had it running for about 1 1/2 years without problems yet. It is a little more noisy than my RainbowOne Whisper, but not bad.
