I've got extra parts

I replaced my EcoSystem sump with a LifeReef Berlin system using a protein skimmer. After completion I find that I have extra parts. I have two of these bag looking things that are made of a netted material with a draw string on one end. Anyone have an idea what these are. I can't find reference in instructions. Do I place the material collected in the protein skimmer cup inside of these bags to make a nice cup of tea?

Just a shot in the dark but maybe one over the intake to the return to keep stuff outa the pump. On on overflow pipe also???

Just a few stabs.

One it could be a pre filter bag for the incoming water from your tank. You place it under the return from your tank to sump catching nay large particles.

Secondly it could be a filter bag :P To hold stuff like Carbon, Nitrate Suckers n the goodies like that.
