iv drip bag?!?! for kalk

where did you guys buy your IV drip bag systems? I looked on the net then called one of the places and they told me I needed a perscription. Where should i go to get the goods?

Also with the standard IV bag size how often do you have to refill?

Also i'm going to use pikling lime.

I want to set up a system where i only have to refill the drip once every seven days or so, this way i can do it on the weekends when i have some free time.

One more thing, how do you not let air into the mixing container? Do you put it in a bottle with a lid and shake? And use a siphon to put into the iv bag?

Can i just use the iv drip system with a large sealed plastic jug?

You should go to a thread started here 3-5-02 by nhilcrest, it covers this in pretty good detail.

i think i might try a auto top off system dosed with kalk, instead of the drip way. I was thinking of putting a 5gal arrow head bottle next to my sump and have to lines going into it threw a rubber cap off. one line would be the air inline that is triggered by and float vavle, and the other line will be the output when the air forces the water out and into the sump. I know i will be allowing the kalk to hit carbon, and it will loose its potency, but there are a ton of people who use no IV bags and have great succes. I'm also going to use Pickling Lime.
