It's spring time!!

The geese are mating in the pond (loud ruckus at 3 am let me tell you).... and it is spring time. Time to clean again... hence my question. Have any of you steam cleaned carpets with your tanks in the same room? Anyone have any troubles?? Any pointers?? Any concerns? Any recommendations?? Tired of the questions yet?

Dave

Hi Dave!

I know someone who cleans their carpets about once a month in the room with their reef tank. Hasn't hurt it yet as far as I can see. Only concerns I can think of is if you have any pesticide build up in the carpet that might be released in the air or maybe if the carpets were brand new, they sometimes give off that chemical compound that makes people feel ill. And I don't even know if those are valid concerns.

Hi Dave! My wife has been known to steam clean our carpets where both our tanks are and have had no problems at all! Johnny
