ITS IN THE AIR since feeding rots

Since I started feeding rots once per week (not sure what strain), the horses have paired off and the males are dancing every morning around the females. two peppermint shrimp have paired off and one of them has hundreds of yellow balls under the tail between the back legs.

ARE THESE EGGS OR POOP?
